Set up by a group of skiing and boarding enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member to cancer, Ski 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of alpine respite breaks for families affected by cancer.
We also make grants to UK based care institutions and support research into the positive effects of exercise and how it can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
After many years away from the sport, ski jumping legend and Ski 4 Cancer patron Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards will jump again at the French National Championships to raise funds for Ski 4 Cancer.
Eddie is already undergoing intensive training in Courcheval in the French Alps, thanks to the generosity of our friends at Alp Leisure, who operate five ski chalets in Meribel and Courcheval.
"We all know people who have been affected by cancer. This is my way of helping in the global fight again cancer through the sport which I love. Ski 4 Cancer would be very grateful for all donations, large or small!
Thank you very much!"
