Leave A Gift In Your Will

Leave a gift in your will to charity...

Estate Management

Any gifts which are left to charities in wills are exempt from Inheritance Tax. Although you may choose to make a cash gift to the ‘4 Cancer Group’ in your will, there are many other ways to support the charity.

For example, you might want to consider donating an asset to the charity which we can use to provide respite days and holidays for families affected by cancer. Such assets might include a holiday home, a static caravan or a yacht – either within the UK or overseas.

By leaving such an asset to the ‘4 Cancer Group’, you will be able to enjoy your asset as you get older, secure in the knowledge that when you die it will not become a millstone to your family. Even if your asset is based overseas, it will cease to be a cost or liability to your family. Find out more about asset donation here >

Inheritance Tax Benefits

  • No Inheritance Tax (IHT) is paid on the gifts to charity
  • The value of a charitable gift is deducted from estate valuation
  • Where an asset takes an estate over the IHT threshold, by leaving it to charity, the estate will be relieved of any IHT

Through our partnerships with specialist law firm Hill Dickinson, the ‘4 Cancer Group’ can help you to plan ahead for the future.  Our discounted will writing service can help you to create a legacy after you’re gone – to specifically help families living with cancer.
