Ski 4 Cancer is delighted to announce that it intends to take part in the Iceman Polar 2020. As such we are looking for team members… people who want to Ski 4 Cancer in this world famous event and help people with cancer at the same time!
About The Race
The Iceman Polar is the ultimate arctic adventure. The challenge route traverses one of Arctic Greenland’s most beautiful and remote regions and borders the world’s largest frozen fjord and our biggest national park.
The Iceman Polar challenge is a four-day journey on skis or snowshoes. You can enter as a team of two, three or four. Individuals can also register to join pooled teams of other like-minded people who do not have the required number of people to form their own team.
Full training will be provided before the event. You will learn to survive in the high-arctic and re-event. The event is organised and managed by Tangent Expeditions, the world’s leading expedition company in Greenland. Professional guides are also available to lead or take part in your own team.

Ski 4 Cancer – About Us
Set up by a team of skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, all of whom have lost a family member or a friend to cancer, Ski 4 Cancer is primarily a provider of days out and short breaks for British families affected by cancer. We also support research into the positive effects of exercise and altitude and how they can help with cancer prevention and recovery.
